As someone who identifies as being bi, I was beyond pissed when Brian made his comment to Lindsay about it being okay to like cock and pussy, but not a the same time. That was one of the only times I was upset enough at Brian to wish I could punch him. But then I realize Brian wouldn’t give a shit about who someone fucked. Let alone Lindsay, so I then wanted to punch the writers for messing up.

I think what adds to my anger about QaF’s biphobia is during 5.13 when Michael gives his speech about how being different makes us family. If that’s true then y’all shouldn’t have a problem with bisexuals.

We saw so much hatred towards homosexuals in QaF, that you expect me to believe our gang would apply similar close-minded bullshit to bisexuals? Yeah, I don’t think so.

So whoever decided that they wanted to throw their own biphobic shit into the show can suck my left nut because you’re an asshole and comments like the one Brian made have NO business in Queer as Folk.
